Cassandra Douma

Cassandra was born and raised in Greater Vancouver. After working as the head of customer service for a cross-Canada company for two years, she attended the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom where she earned a first-class honor in Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014. Cassandra continued on to the University of British Columbia to complete her Masters of Law, Common Law in 2016. 

Cassandra worked as a legal assistant at MacMillan Tucker while on breaks from university and articled with the firm until she was called to the bar in August of 2018. Cassandra has assisted on a number of trials in the British Columbia Supreme Court, has appeared before judges or masters in both the British Columbia Provincial Court and Supreme Court, and has gained experience in an array of areas of dispute. Her practice is predominantly in the area of general litigation.

Cassandra spends her free time with friends and family, and enjoys sailing, cooking, and reading when she can.
